Small Business Grants
Tapestry has made small business grants available since 2011. Grants of up to $500 are given to families and they commit to helping other small businesses as they are able. One of our first grants went to buy a pair of bullocks (oxen). The second grant was used to establish a vegetable stand in a market. Yet another grant went to pay off a small van used in a taxi business. The money keeps working and working and working.
If you give to provide small business grants, there is no telling how the money will be used. However, based on past experience, the loan will help people continue to feed, house, and bless their families, as well as their entire community for years and years to come. We have been doing this for eleven years now and, it's working!
